Interesting Fact

You’re on a trip to a race down south when you pull in for fuel and slide your card into the gas pump. Then it asks for your Zip Code….Zip Code?? We’re from Canada and we have Postal Codes! The pump refuses your card and you have to go in to prepay for your fuel. So how much do I need? $25, $125?? So you prepay $200 and then put in $157 and have to walk back in for a refund on the difference.

Sound familiar?

Here is the solution: When the pump asks for your Zip Code….punch in the 3 “numbers” of your postal code followed by two zeros. It works!!

Can You Lend a Hand?

As many people may or may not know..Josh Shiskoski is a former Manitoba Pro rider that experienced a life altering accident in Fergus Falls, Minnesota, about 2 years ago . He is currently confined to a wheel chair, married to a beautiful wife, working full time and is now in the process of building a new home.

The following is a letter we received from Josh on April 27, 2011:

As you know because or my injury a normal house just doesn’t work for me and I was wondering if u could put a post on the MMA’s website telling people that I am building a house starting next week and if anyone wants to donate or help paint or shingle or any thing tell them to contact me via email phone or facebook and we can arrange for them to get involved.

Also tell them that after the social I went for treatment in Germany where I had stem cells injected into my spinal cord via lumbar puncture.  They say there is a 50 percent chance I will see improvements.  It can take anywhere from 2 months to two years before I’ll notice anything.  So far, I haven’t noticed any thing yet…. but still am hopeful…..and if this doesn’t work at least I still have god on my side.  Thanks.

Josh Shiskoski
