News
Warning….
Please remember that pit riding is a privilege and not a right!
There are still too many riders going far too fast in the pit area at our Sunday races.
The Mini riders seem to be the worst group….so parents, please advise your children of the rules; “First gear at idle or a walking pace”…..to and from your moto, only; with your helmet on. If you are spotted above this speed, or Dad is caught riding your 65 back to the trailer….YOU will be starting backwards for your next moto.
ALL MINOR RIDERS PLEASE BRING YOUR SIGNED WAIVERS.
New Policy for 2010: all riders under the age of 18 must have a Minor Participant Waiver and Parental Waiver filled out and brought to EVERY RACE. PLEASE save some time and print them off at home, have them filled out and bring them to sign in. Or, you can get the forms at the MMA trailer. Click here for the Minor Participant Waiver and Click here for the Parental Waiver.
Thank you for your cooperation.
Race Day Results … in Print
For those of you that haven’t noticed…the MMA is working with the Winnipeg Free Press to have race day results posted in the sports section of the paper on a weekly basis.
The results could be printed for the Tuesday or Wednesday paper …the publishing day could change from week to week and is dependent upon available space.
Keep watching for your name……..
All riders under 18 must fill out these forms for every race.

Did you Know?
…That your MMA Board of Directors has opted for and voted to run a “Ladies only” class for 2010. It will include the Ladies class and the “Little ladies” running at the same time on the track.
This is for a trial period during the Spring Series ONLY and then it will be re-evaluated. If you have ever thought about starting to race, but were always intimidated by the faster riders….this would be a great time to consider it.
Ladies….start your engines!
